Pastor Yvonne C. Rankine served in the ministry alongside her husband, Reverend Trevor L. Rankine in their native land of Jamaica. There they pastored a church for over eight years before migrating to the United States of America in 1992. They have been blessed with a son, who is a product of their ministry in Jamaica, and their beloved daughter. Pastor Yvonne C. Rankine currently serves as Co-Pastor of World Harvest Deliverance Center Inc. in Far Rockaway, New York.
Together, she and her husband have embarked on a mission to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to minister to the needs of the community at large through various ministries. Pastor Yvonne C. Rankine attended Christ for the Nations Bible College in Jamaica, West Indies, and later continued her studies at Bethel Bible Institute in Jamaica, Queens upon arriving in the United States. Shortly thereafter, in 1994, she and her husband founded World Harvest Deliverance Center Inc.
After several years of service in the ministry, Pastor Yvonne C. Rankine revamped her professional education, returned to college, and obtained her Baccalaureate in Business Administration. Pastor Yvonne C. Ranine, spearheaded the establishment of WHDC Summer Camp and After-School Programs, and God has blessed and enabled her and her husband to extend the educational reach of their ministry by Co-founding and establishing WHDC Christian Academy. This educational institution is committed to educating scholars in a safe environment, from the Pre-Kindergarten level to Junior High.
As the Administrator of WHDC Christian Academy, she stands behind the motto “Committed to a Standard of Excellence.” Pastor Yvonne C. Rankine dedicates her life to the service of the Lord, with deep compassion for the disadvantaged, downtrodden, and broken in our society, with a particular interest in women and children. She has traveled to Canada and England proclaiming the undiluted Word of God and continues to avail herself for The Master’s use. She conducts seminars, workshops, and provides pre-marital and post-marital counseling. She currently holds a Master’s degree in Christian Ministry, and has a weekly radio broadcast which can be heard on Monday nights at 9:15 p.m. on WMCA AM570/FM 102.3 & AM 970. & AM570themission.com
